What you think? A good representation of the character? Good sculpt?
I saw one in LCS with $40 after tax, and was fairly impressed by the musculature done by Rick Force, kindda on the fence of this one, wanna know what you all think so I can make decision! :buttrock:
I'll appreciate any feedback! :buttrock:

$40 is high... get it on eBay for cheaper.

It's a great job. If you are remotely interested in the undersea villans of Namor then pick it up plus it's a great price as well but check the comicstatues.com list first to see if it's there.

Forgot to tell ya, ebay is always mt last choice, I don't care about that ten or fifteen bucks difference, if I can find a sculpture in LCS, I'll go for it. :D

I've checked and didn't see it. :)

I enjoy the piece. It fits well with the whole FF and Namor thing. The sword is a little iffy but I do not regret purchasing this mini.

Very nice representation of the character. Rick did a great job on this piece :buttrock:

If group displays are important to you and you like classic characters, it's a nice piece to have. I like to rotate my displays so I'll be displaying Attuma with Sub-Mariner, Stingray (pending), Tigershark (pending) and Triton (when Namor isn't displayed w/Defenders and Triton isn't displayed w/Inhumans).

I did a review of the piece here, it's an okay piece but it has it's share of problems.

I like it (but you can probably get it cheaper on ebay). However the shipping may discount any savings considerably.

You're not serious, right? :D
If I can get it right away from LCS, why wait for shipping and delivery?
Thanks for your offer though, CK13. :)

UGH.

This is the only mini-bust I've ever bought, received, been disgusted with, and sold on ebay for half of what I paid within a week of getting it. Just icky.

I really like the Attuma bust! I Like it better sitting beside my Orca bust:).

This is why I can't make the decision, Jesse. :)My suggestion, go to a LCS and look at it in person first ... if I'd have done that, I probably wouldn't have bought it.

Always buy what you like! The production run is very low on this piece as well so I don't know if that will manipulate your decision.

I don`t think i`d pay more than $15 for it.

to me my board!

Wrong pose (head pointing far too low) but great scupt - I just hope the same thing doesn't apply with the Mandarin bust....

Read my post carefully, Jesse. "I saw this MB at my LCS and was impressed by the musculature"
I almost bought it, but your review poped in mind...
I'm not a pro so I can't really see the problems...
But there's one thing, the torso of this MB is not thick enough, Attuma is a 400 ponds giant if I'm not mistaken, he should be real thick and beefy, the muscle shape and lines are impressive, it would be a perfect bust if the torso is thicker.... :banghead:

It's a great bust but I don't think I want to pay more than $30 and I have a black namor to place it next too. But the bust is amazing

Just came back from LCS with my Attuma MB... :rolleyes2
First: I LOVE classic characters.
Second: My Namor bust has been there by itself for a while, I want a companion piece for it, and Attuma is just the right one.(Like to see Orka, Stingray and Tigershark.)
Third: The sclupt is not too bad, and it's probably the last chance to see an Attuma sculpture.
So there it is, standing right beside me, the Attuma MB. :spam:

Rider, let's put it this way .. you're probably not going to be getting another Attuma bust. Let's face it, what other company will put out this character in bust form?

If you like the characters, then short of having your own piece commissioned, this is pretty likely going to be it.

Attuma is not a major character, but he's not THAT bad, right? :rolleyes2
And I can't afford any private commission... :banghead:
Thanks a lot, Jesse!

Another quick Question, I know he did the sasquatch MB, but is Rick Force new to this field?
I may be mistaken, but when I did an overview on Attuma bust, the word that poped in my mind is "green". :rolleyes2
The posing, fingers sculpt, msculature and the overall thickness...For me it looks young and lack of experience, but he's promising.
if I'm wrong, I apologize, and I'll appreciate any information about Mr.Force!

Don't know about green, but Rick has more sculpting talent in his pinky then I ever will or most people here. Attuma is a grat sculpt.
