Soreness goes away after a few weeks of steady heavy lifting, don't push it to much though, but you have to push through initially for growth.

The best three strength building exercises are flat bench, squats and deadlifts. I would through in Military press as well. I highly recommend the books "getting stronger" by Bill Pearl and Arnold Schwarzenegger's encyclopedia of modern bodybuilding. The two best books on weight training you will ever own. Word.

Sorry to butt in Sam, but you shouldn't do military presses standing, unless you are in training for the olympics. Use hand weights as heavy as you can lift and sit on a bench. This takes the stress off your lower back and knees. If you have a press machine evven better. You can grip short, wide and reverse. This hits all the minor muscles in the shoulder and if done right and long enough can help strengthen your rotator cuff.

brother, concentrate on the big three then, squat, deadlift and flat bench. Do heavy weights at low reps, make sure you check with a trainer or someone that your technique is sound. I highly recommend lifting with a partner. Danny know a lot about lifting, he has trained with Bill Katzmeir, the MAN. Anyway, stay away from drugs and eat lots of protein. Word. And get those books I mentioned early, and stick to a schedule when you work out. Don't overtrain either.

Believe it or not brother, Mark Bagley lives in East Cobb County, not to far from where I live (I think I'm in South Cobb County). In order to fully replace him, I would lure him to my wine cellar with a cask of Amitilliado, and then brick him up down there. Alive of course. And since we look nothing alike (he's a short white dude with a mustache) I'd have to fly you over from England and pretend to be me assuming Mark Bagleys identity. Okay then...:peoples:

The aquarium is about 20 minutes from my house, and right near there is Ted Turners Montanna Grill. No ribs, but they have a killer chili cheeseburger. Word.
