That's what I'm talking about. Thor should be about a head length larger than this Spider-Man, ie: Thor's chin should start around the top of Spider-Man's head.

I'm hoping that the Thor statue with the base is at least 18ins in height!

I say 14'~15' overall(base included). If it's smaller than that..... :puke2:
We all need a big Thor!!!!
BTW, Where's Odin MB?

he will be around colossus height, even though colossus should be bigger since he's 7'4.

Colossus is 7'5" in armored form. This is why I think the Colossus BD made (even though it looks great) is way off in scale. If anything, Colossus should be from toe to head about 2-3 inches taller than Thanos. His bulk is right on the money though. I say we need a new colossus. Honestly!

How does a thread discussing the height of the new Thor statue turn into a call for a new Colossus (which IMO we don't need)? I think about a 1/2" or show shorter than Colossus would work for this Thor statue.

Scale doesn't bother me so much as getting a really good statue. I find the newest stats on Marvel highly suspect in any case. Sasquatch is 10 feet, Blob is 8 feet, Colossus is 7'5, Hulk 7', Juggernaut is 6'10 and Thanos is 6'7. That is not reflected on the pages, their scale is often wrong. I try not to get hung up too much as it annoys me that the Hulk is IMO too small.

Shrinkage. Of course you do realise I'm kidding. As big as Colossus would be great.

The same way that every thread goes off topic. And yes, we do not need a new Colossus statue. There are soooo many other statues that need to be done.

Colossus isn't out of scale, if anything its Thanos that is out of scale - which technically doesn't matter anyways because Thanos can manipulate his size. Scale problem solved.

Thor needs to be about an inch shorter than Colossus, I dont buy the "if he's smaller than Colossus it won't work" argument. I'd rather see him done true to size than have some ungainly 15" monster going eye to eye with Thanos and Juggeranut.

I'd take an inch shorter than Colossus. As long as he's taller than Cyclops, then it won't look out of whack.

i agree :)

speaking of shrinkage, what can we say about galactus? isnt he notoriously out of scale?

REAL bad! But to be fair, he looks nice with the FF mini statue set. CK13 has the BEST set up because he has the mini Namor statue too! :buttrock:

I don't know how tall exactly but Thor needs to be big. He should stand a head above most other characters.
