Finally, the NFL starts the regular season! I love football, college and pro! This time of year is just awesome.
I am a long time Steeler fan, and though I am bummed that Ben is not playing I still think we have a good chance.
I am very interested to see how Culpepper does tonight as well, Miami is going to be tough.
So are you ready for some football?
Side note..................GO BUCKEYES!!!!!

Heck yeah, I'm ready!!! This is the best time of the year. Football starts up, and baseball is moving towards the playoffs. I follow the Falcons, Broncos, and Packers in the NFL. Should be a good year for 2 out of 3. Gotta root hard for the UGA Bulldogs this weekend. They're playing Spurrier, and his C***'s. GO DAWGS!!!!!!

Can anyone say Piss Poor Officating again????
It is time the NFL woke up and got rid of the 65 year old man running down the sideline and got a new crop of Official...
Yeah.. the ball would have been 1st and Goal on the 1.5 yard line... but last time it was their... Batch fumbled... I just hate when the zebras take control of a game... that Illegal Contact foul when it was 3 and 16 was a ticky tack foul that never gets called... Was just a poor poor game by the officials...
Culpepper did not look sharp throwing two interceptions... and that is the real reason the Dolphins lost... but something needs to be done about the officials... they just suck.

yep, they blew a blatant interference call on the Miami D that wold have given the Steelers the ball deep, rather they ended up puting to the Dolphins.
Culpepper looked bad for a reason - STEELER DEFENSE
Steelers were the better team tonight, don't blame it on the refs ...

Culpepper was bad because he's Culpepper, not because of the Steelers D :)
Course, they didn't help matters none either.

Your right.. the blew that call.. and then had the make up call the next drive when the ball flew over the recievers head by 10 feet... and dont forget all the holding calls on both sides of the ball... On one of Parker's end arounds... the full back just laid down on a Dolphins defender... That is a holding call and 10 yards.. The refs just sucked...
The better team won tonight... dont get me wrong... but the officials suck. I dont even want to bring up the 'Mugging in Detroit'

i had culpepper and chambers starting in my fantasy league. that sucked lol but its only week one. we play with individual defensive players so i had joey porter and that ended up evening it out..somewhat. but ihope culpepper gets on track

Dolphins can try again next year, Sabin will be in the nuthouse before midseason.
Go Steeler's!!!!
Jacksonville vs. Steeler's next, this is always a good game, not an easy schedule for Pittsburgh, most team's are playoff bound, well except Miami, he ehe.

Things might have been different if Chambers hadn't let that TD pass go right through his hands. Madden was trying to credit the CB Taylor for a good play, but the replay showed it went right through his hands. Nice.

Here is what is wrong with the NFL... Penalty Stats from last nights game:
_____________________ Dolphins Steelers
PENALTIES No. and Yards 6-63 1-10
Not counting the red flag incident... this crew was horrible... Not saying that the Steelers are not a better team... not saying that the Dolphins would have won had the officals been better... just saying that this needs to be changed... from the horrible Super Bowl.. to the first regular season game...
in my fantasy league, I have eli manning, shockey, LT & reggie bush
