my boys at tennesse are, once again, overrated:banghead: . they barely beat air force but thats no surprise to anyone whos ever seen the vols defend (a term i use lightly) against the option. osu/txs was a dissapointment. id hoped the horns would be more competitive.
watch west virginia!!! thay only lost a few seniors last year and they are extremely fast! i pick em to be national champs! probobly an unpopular pick but wait till you see em play. so what say you ftbl fans?

My team is the University of Georgia. They can't go all the way, but can have a pretty good season. Our new QB Matthew Stafford is going to be a complete bad-a$$ next year. Man, he can sling it! I'm rooting for the Vols this weekend. They are the lesser of 2 evils. :) I still think the SEC is the best overall conference in the nation. And nobody has to tell a UGA fan about WVU's speed. We almost got blown out by them last year. Slaton is fast as any RB in the nation. That dude can fly!!

i also believe the sec to be the baddest:buttrock: a friend has invited me to see georgia vs ole miss up the road in oxford but if i go ill have to sit with ole miss fans. im not into that hotty totty chant they do, but i never pass up a chance to see sec games. i thought about painting myself up orange and sporting my U.T. gear in a sea of blue and red just so i can get on tv. auburn looks tough too btw.

The University of Michigan Wolverines.
They play Notre Dame later today but the game I'm looking forward to the most is the Ohio State vs Michigan game.

Auburn! I went there as well as my dad. They play LSU Saturday so we'll see what happens!

a few huge matchups in the sec today. aub/lsu should be awesome. if lsu cant contain auburn running attack itll be a long day for em. im goin with auburn in a low scoring game. tenn/florida is the game i look forward to every year. this time the only chance the vols have is to pray for some hometown calls. i hate to see the fellas go down but floridas secondary is among the most athletic in the nation. if tenn gets behind that florida speed will keep em down. as bad as it pains me to say, florida wins big. all you ohio st. fans better be pullin for mich today cause if notre dame wins the osu/mich game will mean very little. but dont get your hopes up! nd wins the game of the day.
hey drod, i didnt know you were a southern man! my sons coach graduated from auburn! S.E.C.! S.E.C.! S.E.C.!

Like The Watcher, I'm a Michigan fan. Have been since 1993. If they can beat Notre Dame today, I think they may have a shot of going all the way. Mike Hart will have to stay healthy this year.
Go Blue!
My main team would be the Division I-AA, James Madison University Dukes!
Of course, I went to JMU so...
In I-A I follow Maryland, but after that pasting they got from West Virginia I might need to reconsider.

Cool deal! Good pregame calls. Glad ND lost though on this one. What a defensive game between Auburn / LSU. These are the type of games that SEC teams will go down in the polls when it shouldn't reflect their position. Then you have USC play some bs teams, take no losses and go up in the polls. The difficulty of schedule for any SEC team is unreal. Then you have USC that have only 2 competitive games a year and one is to Cal. How can you actually rank a team doesn't have a well rounded schedule? Besides playing weak teams, they won't suffer the injuries that come playing against tough teams.
Look at all these SEC teams in the top 30. Auburn / LSU / Florida / Georgia / Tennessee / Alabama. Due to schedule, no way they can all stay in the top 30, ever. In the top ten, you have 3. Even though I do have to admit USC's schedule is getting better even though it is still very weak.

im with ya d! those glamour teams always get all the regional talent and dominate their season. occasionally they schedule a s.e.c. game but its usually against the lightweights like ark or vanderbilt. very few conferences have the smashmouth style of the s.e.c. elite. nebraska and wisconsin are the exception and you cant deny the level of talent every year at mich, nd, and o.s.u..
S.E.C., S.E.C., S.E.C.!!!!!

some pretty good match ups today. i think the most competitive games will have some lesser known teams on the field. miss st./uab is gonna be awesome! uab has dominating speed on both sides of the ball and their finesse will contrast msu's strength nicely. if msu cant control the clock with a run game they dont stand a chance. the rest of the s.e.c. has an easy day with the exception of 'bama/ark. dont be surprised if ark comes to play. they had one of the best recruiting off seasons in recent history and the whole country is disreguarding them. a mistake imo. too close to call but man what a game! ucla/wash is always a good one and today should be no exception. willingham is a genious and his team will be ready for an overconfident ucla team. a high scoring game that i believe wash will win. usc/ariz is not on anybodies radar cause usc is expected to win big. az is no pushover and if they catch sc sleeping they have a legitimate chance to beat em. i doubt sc will cover the spread (17 pts last i looked). you mich.st. fans are in for some hurt! after what mich. did to nd last week the irish will be determined to say the least. i dont know when the last time mich. and st. both beat nd in the same season and it wont happen this time either. mich gets wisc today and itll be a matter of time before wisc starts to wear down an already tired mich squad. if its close at the start of the 3rd qtr, wisc (relentless ground game!!) just might pull out a win. the game of the day will be cal/az.st.! cals secondary is not up to par with the az.st. receivers and az.st.'s d-line cant stop cals run game. imo, that makes for an exciting game. az.st. wins a very competitive game. you g.o.r.e. folks gan go play golf or something cause o.s.u. is gonna walk all over penn.st.. it wont even be close. my w.virginia boys should get some respect today when they get their 3rd 25pt victory. today itll be over a very good e.carolina team. so who are yall watching?
