Dear Mr. Selig:
I submit for your approval the following recommedation for immediate annoiting as the true single season HR King.
Its not Babe Ruth, because he drank an elixir comprised of smashed goat testicles thereby ingesting steroids.
Its not Roger Maris or anyone from that era because those plaers utilized greenies to improve their performance.
Its not Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, Sammy Sosa or anyone who achieved the record post-1991 because the liklihood that they utilized PEDs outweighs their accomplishments.
Instead Mr. Selig, the true HR King is none other than Cecil Fielder. There is no question that this man in no way shape or form every attempted to hone or tone his body. Please be sure to immediately schedule an announcement at the Hall of Fame in Cooperstown. I will arrange for a flatbed truck to bring Mr. Fielder to the ceremony.
