Hey All,

I just wanted to show off a new piece that Devil's Own Resin will be producing soon. He's the first of a line of kits based on villains of the DC universe. He stands 10 inches tall and is sculpted by Gabe Perna. Another kit company will be producing the DC Heroes in a similar format. Price and availability are yet to be determined. Without further adieu I present Darkside.

Oh wow. The textures on that sculpt are amazing! Damn, the whole thing is awesome. I hope a Solomon Grundy or a Bizzaro are in the works from Gabe. :D

New Perna Work! Yay! Awesome! I love the detail in Gabe's work, and the contrast between the uber-lined face and the super-smooth back of the skull is great.

I can't wait to see future pieces. Any hints?

Solomon Grundy? Deathstroke? Killer Croc? I really hope they are outside of the traditional Batman Rouge's Gallery. As cool as they are, I think some other villains need the Lunchmin touch. :thumbs2:

hi guys-
sorry for coming in so late, but life has been the epitome of hectic, what with work, family and the offending holidays...
anyhoo- i'm very pleased that you all like the start of the line. this was extremely fun to do, as are the other ones. the #4 in the series is my favorite so far. they're a bit bigger than i'm used to doing, so it makes them lots of fun!
as for who the next ones are- well, i really can't say... but if all goes well, i'll have pics of number 4 next week (2 and 3 had to take a back seat once i got started on this one!).
thanks again everyone. i can't wait to see some of these painted...especially seeing as a couple of blokes around here are gonna be doing the painting!

ya know- i never gave him much thought. he was mentioned in the initial list of like 50 candidates...
but lordy- he'd be a lot of fun to sculpt now that you made me stop to think about him specifically!
i suppose we'll just see about that!
