Looks that way. Even if the Mets get by the Cards I don't think they would be able to beat the Tigers. Remember pitching & defense is what wins a World Series and the Mets are starting to show their starting pitching woes.

It would still make for a great WS though seeing how the Mets match up better to the Tigers than the Cards do.

Fat lady is singing bro. Neither the Cards or the Mets are beating the Tigers. They don't have enough pitching to get it done. The Mets have the best chance out of the 2 but there bullpen is going to be worn out and that's if they even beat the Cards.

Thats the Mets only chance. They're going to have to slug out those last 2 wins because Glavine can't pitch the last 3 games. Another big worry is Glavine on short rest sucks so who knows what happens tonight.

All I know is that MLB is praying that the Mets make it because Tigers Vs. Cards in the world series will probably have the worst ratings ever.

Starting pitching is a problem this year and if the Mets are not careful to resign the guys they already have the bullpen will be a problem next year. Most of those guys are free agents at the end of this year. Must keep the Boss away :stick:
