Sculptor Showcase:

Everyone knows him as zsculptor but now you can know a bit more about him.
Here's his latest creation:
Legion: Cosmic Boy!
This was sculpted in Super Sculpey and then molded and worked in wax. Afterwards molded in resin.
The height is 5 inches from top of the head to bottom of the base which makes in scale with the Bowen busts.
His experience goes from working for Mattel Toys, Disney, Palisades Marketing among others and now Bowen is seeking his talent as well.
Living in Hollywood CA., this 28 year old sculptor has a great future ahead of him. He has been sculpting and designing for over 10 years. Let him know how you feel about his art or send him a PM if you would like more information on this piece.

I think Z's stuff is dynamite. :thumbs2: You can find additional pics of his finished work and work in progress in this thread over on Syntax's website (CAUTION: There are a LOT of photos and they may take awhile to download depending on your connection speed) ...

Can anyone tell me how he, and others, get their clay so smooth while in progress. I understand and engage in sanding after baking, but, obviously, that would not be the technique with oil-based clays.
