HI
I looking for a good book to perfect my drawing skills. I'm interested in life-like drawings and portraits. Any recommendations? (not way basic books please. I know the fundamentals already)

So far I've seen couple online. Bad/good? please comment. ThanXX

only thing you need is a mirror, some friends, family, or just sit in a public spot with pen/pencil and paper.

practice makes perfect, especially when it comes to drawing.

i agree with Car50n . .. i used to have to take a lot of life drawing classes and nothing beats watching real life. a good exercise is to give yourself a time limit for each drawing (like 30sec). this really helps in capturing movement. imho, once you have the movement of each face or body down, detail will naturally follow.

Daisey Grubbs has a book "Modeling A Likeness In Clay" that has tables on taking measurements of a subject's features and much more for the sculptor.
