Hoping for a Hard Hero ANNIHILUS

Great news, that Hard Hero will be producing villains.

As much as I love statues of Doom and Magneto, they've been done repeatedly, and well. I'd like to see a major Marvel bad@ss who HASN'T been full-sized, and with the arrival this month of one of the best MBs ever made, my appetite's whetted for... ANNIHILUS!!!

The Big A would look INCREDIBLE in Hard Hero scale, with those bat-like wings spread out on each side!

Yeah, he'd be a pretty cool HH piece, but he'd be way down my list. Give me a Kang, Loki, Galactus or Thanos before this one.

Annihilus would look great as a FS statue and given Annihilation certainly is more popular than ever.

I agree that Loki needs a FS statue, too, so if Hard Hero only does a couple of villains, Annihilus and Loki would be excellent choices.

For me, part of what makes the HH line appealing (along with great sculpts in an impressive 1/6 scale) is the fact that HH does some less-often-rendered characters, like Hercules and Angel, in addition to iconic characters. A visually striking character, uniquely produced, is hard to beat.

IMO, Annihilus is one of the most striking, can't-take-your-eyes-off-it designs for any Marvel villain. Loki has the advantage of near-iconic status, with more stories (including many that were very well-written), plus being an arch-enemy not only of Thor but of the Avengers as a group.

Still, even Loki can't touch Annihilus in terms of design.
So I'd say, let's get 'em both.

Why not?!! :confused: That's a crappy comment!:mad: Who do you think should make it? I can't think of a better sculptor to make it than Seth?

Maybe an impressive PF Sideshow Annhilius would work, but I can just about guarantee they will never do him. Bowen's scale is too small and DST and other companies' statues do not impress me.

That's about the most bone headed comment I hear on this forum. This is not the first time I have heard someone make this type of comment. I don't get it.

Alterton's Annihilus is cool, I've considered picking it up a number of times, but after factoring in build up costs, the character just isn't that important to me. At about 12 inches this would be close to HH scale.
