Found the new Marvel SuperHero Squad figures today. Picked up Hawkeye/Captain America, Iron Man/Thor, and Hulk/Wasp.

Yes, I did! I've never seen the cartoon Vision, but he looks really cool in my Visionpalooza display. I haven't posted an updated pic yet because I'm in the process of getting a Vision Beanz to add into the mix. And I've got a connection now to get an ARH Vision sculpture sometime next month when my funds allow it.

I'm just not quite right, I know. But I enjoy myself. :laugh:

I just got back from Wal-Mart. Jeez, that wasteland looked like the Island of Lost Toys. No luck on finding any Marvel SuperHero Squad figures. BUT: I got home and looked around on the Web and came up with this:

They're selling the Squad figures for $5.95 a pair, which is an excellent price, IMO! Shipping was $6.90 by UPS, which was OK. It saves me gas driving around town here trying to find these guys. Also, I found other places on eBay and on the Web selling these things for $11.99 to $14.99 a pair, which is just insane.

Anyway, I bought the Angel/Colossus duo and the Captain America/Hawkeye pair. Only Wave 1 is available now at the Web site, but you can pre-order Wave 2 figures, which the site says are coming out in Jan. '07. The site doesn't list anything about Wave 3 yet. That Torch/Surfer pair is a must for me. :)

I agree. In NY/NJ everything that is remotely collectible is sold out the second it hits the shelves. Searching for anything is futile. The internet is a godsend for those of us in the tri-state area.

yes the FF movie set is series 3 and yes Doom/Sue is the last pair, and yes Spidey 3 is wave 4. they're all part of the same line, not off shoots for the movies (of course this is just me talking and not neccisarily true, but i'll still let you quote me on it:p)

I got my son the Wave 1 sets for Christmas, but I didn't know Wave 2 was out yet. The FF wave looks great! Can't wait to pick these all up.

:laugh: To be honest, I really don't know the purpose behind the little Marvel Beanz. They have a weight inside of them that slides from top to bottom when you tilt them each way. They're kind of like Mexican jumping beans, if you know what I mean.

Can anyone explain these Beanz better than me? I really don't get them, but I own five of them anyway. :laugh: My Vision Beanz is already enshrined in my Visionpalooza display.

Oh, I'm right there with ya. I have the complete run of both waves so far, and am eagerly anticipating the FF line and the Spidey line. I hope that they'll do what someone mentioned, and go as crazy with this line as they did with the Star Wars Galactic Heroes line.

Maybe even give us a couple of playsets ala the Millenium Falcon! (They could do a Danger Room, or an Avengers quinjet, or the Fanstasticar....)

I've been looking for these since before Christmas. Just found them today at the local Wal-Mart and bought one of each set (8). They are part of the new set and none were short packed so they should be easy to find.

I like them, but it's a shame they come at the expense of the Spider-Man & Friends line. Those things were awesome.

They're selling the Squad figures for $5.95 a pair, which is an excellent price, IMO! Shipping was $6.90 by UPS, which was OK. It saves me gas driving around town here trying to find these guys. Also, I found other places on eBay and on the Web selling these things for $11.99 to $14.99 a pair, which is just insane.

I bought all of Wave 1 and Wave 2 for my kids. My son's too young to enjoy them but my 2 yr old daughter loves them. Wave 1 I got online but Wave 2 I got in Walmart, well, except for the GR/Punisher. They were sold out. I didn't really want them for my kids anyway. Kinda scary. While I'm hating on Iron Man now, the little Squad figure is probably the best of the bunch.

Hey, Yak...Any word about a Juggernaut in this series? COOL! I just looked up the page and found the Juggernaut will be in a two pack with Nightcrawler! SWEET! I also really wish they'd do a Gladiator (Imperial Guard) for this series as well...Aww who am I kidding. I wish they'd do a whole wave of just Imperial Guardsmen....:(:bawling:

Oh, and I'd also love to see the Hanna Barbera superheroes released by hasbro in this format as well! Galaxy Trio, Herculoids, Space Ghost, Mightor, Samson & Goliath, Birdman...They would be very cool!!!

looks like i was wrong about series 3 and 4, looks like series 3 will be Beast/Iceman, Nightcrawler/juggernaut, Thing/Moleman, Wolverine/Phoenix since those ones are already up at http://hasbro.com/marvel/default.cfm?page=Products/SuperheroSquad&viewall=yes
guess they'll save the movie ones till closer to movie release, i would've liked SuperSkrull in this wave but i aint complaing as all the ones pictured look great:D

I don't think the surfer is out yet. And I also don't think he will be chrome like in the picture. I saw a picture of a production one and it looks more like silver paint.
