I just discovered these online, and I was wondering if anyone had seen these in person yet. They're 6 inches tall. I'm not overwhelmed by them, but I suspect I'll have to pick up a Mysterio. Just because he's Mysterio.

yeah they're out now, every one of them is just a repaint of the old toybiz SMC line, i grabbed the demogoblin though as i missed him the first time around and needed him to fill in the gap in my goblin collection :D

I thought that Lizard looked suspiciously familiar, but mine has been boxed up for years so I couldn't compare.
Is this the same line the Spidey 2099 and Symbiote Spidey are in? Those are the only ones I've seen so far and I'm really digging the '99.

I had not seen these before, but as soon as I saw that pic I knew the Lizard was a simple re-release.
I still know nothing about the line. You say there will be a Spiderman 2099 tuv? A re-release of the toybiz KB Exclusive from years past?

It may very well be a re-release if that's what most of that villains wave is. I can't recall seeing a Spider-Man 2099 figure before but KB has been dieing a very slow death around here since I was like, 14...it's a pretty good possibility that it was released before and it never made it around here.
Here's the full line-up. They don't look so hot in this pic, but they all looked pretty good in person.

This is the KB figure I was talking about
<IMG SRC=http://gofigureactionfigures.com/media/spiderman2099(classic).jpg>
It MIGHT be a new sculpt after all??? It looks like the KB figure had more abdominal articulation. This one is much darker in color too...
Remember THIS old Spiderman 2099?

Saw them at several places already, Wal-Mart, Target and TRU. Picked up the Venom cuz I missed the one Toybiz put out.
There's nothing new in this line, no new sculpt at all, just repainted figures from Toybiz, and the package looks dumb. I'm not quite happy about the license switch so far, Hasbro haven't put out anything new and keep making werid shape blister cards.:stick:

I think the KB looks like it has other points of articulation that the new one is missing as well. If you look at the legs on the KB figure, you can see they're all sliced up, which doesn't appear to be the case on the new one.
Personally, I favor a little less articulation, especially on thin figures like Spidey or female sculpts. It takes away from the visual appeal which is why I buy them in the first place.
I'll have to give them the once over when they bring them back out at work. They're supposed to be redoing the action figure aisle tonight but probably won't make it that far.

i HATE how they never look as good as the adverts - that spidey 2099 looked fantastic in the promo pieces..not so much in real life.
And hey, that GG was in the Marvel legends series as well -= way to keep on using the same character!

if you're refering to my picture that is the ML 13 Green Goblin, the only one of those from the origins is the new demogoblin, GG is from ML and Hob/Jack are both from SMC

I saw the Origins figures in person and they looked pretty nice. Note I am not a figure collector. I think the Civil War Spidey is the figure to get from this set. Who knows when they will make another version of that costume.

I just picked up that Iron Spidey today and it's actually quite nice, a very decent figure. And the best of all is: NO stupid action features at all!!!!!:buttrock:

Told ja this is a great figure!:thumbs2:
I actually saw three of them at my local Target the other day, yes, THREE, 3 of them!
I'm guessing there's a back room guy hiding these for flipping, but been found by his boss/coworker because of his lousy hiding skill.
They then put these figures out without knowing someone is actually hindind it on purpose...just my assumption.
I thought about picking them up and offer them to forum members, but when talk about shipping, I'm flat out lazy, so I persuade myslef there aren't many members up here need this second-rated costume spidey from the dumb@ss low-life compan--Has-blow.
And when I went back next day, they're gone like they never exist before...
Sorry if there's someone out there that needs this Spidey, I'll keep my eyes on it from now on....

I passed when I saw them at WalMart 3 or 4 weeks ago. Then last week Target had 6 - I was getting 5 of them, but the cards were too bent on 3 of them so I only snagged 3.
Rider - my new rule of thumb with things people here might want is to snag them if its at a store where you can return them. That way if people did want them you've hooked them up and if no one wants them then you can just return em.

Yeah, there'll be no problem doing return at Target, that's why I was thinking about picking them up for folks up here. But the main reason I passed on them is because I'm flat out lazy on shipping when I'm not making any profit from it...
You don't suppose I can sell that figure for $15 to a forum member, don't you?
If I'm selling a limited edtion rare @ss statue, I might raise the price just because of its demand and the overall market price.
But on this little figure, there's no space for me to raise the price since people might just find it at their local Wal-mart/Target anyday...
So since I don't benefit on this deal, I lose my motivation, that's pretty much the story.:p

Just sell it at cost and reap the benefits of karma and good will. Much more useful then the extra buck or two. And someday if you are ever in a bind, others will have your back.:thumbs2:

That's one of my thought, if we don't bother to pay our effort, don't even expect any return.
So if you folks need a movie Cars little die-cast or some variant, I can be of a little help!
