...when do we get official confirmation of Phase 4? I know Randy has mentioned there being things in line for a Phase 4, but when is the license officially renewed?

I remember seeing a thread like this from Jan '05 about the Phase 3 license, but I don't remember when Randy actually confirmed Phase 3.

If I remember correctly, it was the later half of 2005.
I'm thinking around Sept.
Not worried about it.

Phase III ends December 31st, 2007. Anything not solicited by then will either not be released, or be considered Phase IV depending on what happens.

Based on the amount of product that was released last year, it appears that all the previews for mb's and Fs's that have been shown might be the remainder of the Phase III pieces.

Without a phase IV its doubtful we will be seeing any of these "wish lists" that keep getting posted.

time will tell.

It depends on the terms of the license. If there is an option for BD to extend the license he could do so at anytime because the terms have already been fixed. Alternatively, Marvel may hold on option whereby they can extend the license. However, if BD and Marvel have to enter negotiations again then that could protract any announcement.
