Detolfs are really gorgeous for statue display (especially when you consider the fact that they're just slightly more expensive than a frikkin' mini-bust!). However, if IKEA would take the basic detolf design, and add 12" to the height, 4" to the depth, and 6" to the width...they'd be perfect.

Jav, you can get 3 different sizes.

For FS the 16x16 works the best.
You can fit 2 - 3 FS depending on how big the characters are.

Well, my collection isn't nearly as large as yours (I mainly buy FS'ers, and only Marvel heroes from '61-'69...which explains why I'm alway whining about getting an Ant-Man statue). So I'm looking to get a curio really soon so I can display them like the pic I once found (see below).

im on your level i got 38 bowen full size stats, 28 mini busts, and 5 clay born moore statues all in storage i need like 4 detolfs............and a bigger apartment..............by the way i already got 1 detolf {ikea}, 1 ingo {ikea}, and another showcase, with some custome show case boxes with all my DC statues displayed.

I built shelves from homedepot in the back of my garage. For what i would pay for a storage, i pay for a garage that fits my car and like 300 box's. But i got lucky with my neighbors that rent me their garage.

I'm thinking of getting the cube cases myself. I found cubes cases 18" by 18" which is biggest i've seen. I need all the space i can, an 18" by 18" is pretty roomy. As for dust you gotta buy the doors for the cube case. Also i get dust with the detolf, not as much but some.

Nice setup everyone, I wish I could show my new setup, 4 set's of the glass cubes, filled with only BD statues and all the mini's.
I have to get a digital camera and start taking some pic's, even my family was impressed with my "doll collection".
I've got a ton of other stuff, but that's all going to be sold, only keeping BD piece's.

Thank's, I look at your Nova's and really get depressed, it's not that it's that great of a character, it's just it would have been so much better if they would have all been chromed, not "highlighted".
By the way great setup, if I wasn't so computer dumb I'd post my entire setup as well, glass cubes really make the whole collection look so much better. I've got 4 set's of them, 16x16's, 4 high and 4 wide, there really great, pricey though, have to get some of those riser's.
Now all I need is the GB, CBS, and the BCFRN.
They're not high on my want list though.

I'm a elevator mechanic, i work in the repair dept. Good paying job but the money is in overtime.

What i did to fit namor is, double the rubber under the glass on top of namor. Like this the glass was lifted to fit namor under it. I also did the same for chrome SS fs. Hope that helps you.

The thing looks alot smaller than the new hulk. The thing reaches the hulks armpits. But if you have the old hulk which would go perfect IMO.

Both statues are in scale. Hulk is taller than the Thing anyway, but its only the bases that put them out of scale....If both bases were the same height they would be perfect together.
