In the first round of sneak rating, an impressive turnout gave high marks to all four sneaks, with the Jim Lee Beast coming out on top. Check out the Rate the Sneaks ratings in the Sneak Peek Gallery (http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?p=713207#post713207)!

Now time to see if the revised sneaks of Captain Britain and Beast will do better...

Captain Britain, unpainted with no base, scored 7.82 out of 10 before. How will he fare now?

I can't think of anything I'm unhappy with. I love it. 10/10 for me. I can't wait until it's released.

Not bad over all 9 out of 10 .. though he looks like he's wearing lipstick in that picture.

don't like the bust using exact same base as two previous "britain" hero busts

I DO! :D

I like it and gave it 8/10. Which I guess is the best to hope for because he's not a character with a shiny ax or something to make him "super cool," ya know?

I like the bust, I like the consistent base for the Limeys, but I still don't think you could actually fit a nose under that mask as it is designed - and that bothers me a bit.

It's a great piece. 9/10 for me.

I lke it, 9/10
I liked how the other version looked with the back being cut away and uniting with the base.

I gave it a 10/10 as it looks dead on to me. I don't like the character enough to get the MB, but it really turned out well.

For whoever gave it a 2, what were your problems with it?

10 out of 10, not sure why anyone would take away any points for this one. it is a perfect and beautiful representation of the character.

Just to be the Devil's Advocate .. just because it looks great here doesn't mean it's going to look this good when we actually get the piece, I'm especially leary of a piece with a paint up this complex .. it's just asking for trouble.

After all the bad paint jobs lately, I've really adopted a wait and see attitude on every piece.

I like the bust alot. The only problem I see is the gloves. Is it my imagination or does he look like he has two different kinds of goves on?

In the picture, the glove on his left hand looks like it is flared out in a gauntlet type cuff. The right hand does not appear to be that way.

I gave it a 6 but that is a reflection on a poor costume, hard to make that look good (and i'm a Brit).

9 outta 10 for me. Would've gave it a 10 if they used the red chrome like Vindicator.....:)

The gloves are both flared. Chalk it up to my poor photoshop skills.

We didn't have an extra lion base hanging around, so I used the photo from the 60's Cap Brit.

Re: the nose not fitting under the mask: I sculpted an actual full head under the mask,(complete with nose). Granted- The mask design is meant to reflect the look that Alan Davis created on his run of Excalibur.

I like this piece a lot, I gave it a 9/10...nice sculpt, nice colors, and I like the base, ties in nicely with the others.

I'd like to see a different base (do we really need the lionhead base for EVERY British bust?), but otherwise I think this piece is looking very nice.
