Going through all the 2006 stuff I really had to go with Ray Villafane.
That Western GR put him over the top for me.

My vote here is for Randy. Hawkeye is my favorite FS of 2006. Man, Randy has some good sculptors work for him. There are some real bad-a$$ sculptors on those 2 lists.

The poll is in the Bowen section so it made sense to use the Bowen stable.

P.S. Overall, Randy gets my nod here. The Hawkeye is among his best all time pieces.
The Subbys look great too.

Unless I'm mistaken, the only Ray Villafane statue released by Bowen this year was the Punisher first appearance tribute.

This poll is based on sculpts released by BD in 2006. The artists included in the poll are those who worked with Randy in 2006. Had I started the thread in the general section, I would have inluded DC, HH, and SS artists and so on.

All this to say that the 16 or so votes for Villafane in this 2006 poll, in spirit, are basically saying that if all the product the artists (of poll #2) produced this year were stacked against one another, these voters see the Punisher as the best one among them (over Hawkeye, Submariner, Scorpion, Rhino and so on...).

I voted for villifane as I since this poll is just a popularity contest anyway.

That and my favorite bd statues are all villifane ones.

But there are just so many talented sculptors out there.
