Both look great, but I'd err more on the side of a higher run for the Excalibur version.

80's could be a cool BDCC, especially since it's a new sculpt.

I'm definitely getting the 70s one. I love that costume.

While the 80s Cap'n Britain is a superb sculpt, I'm not sure yet about buying that one.

Who sculpted the 80s Captain Britain? It looks great. I just like the 70s look better, for some reason.

I sculpted the 80's version. Though I've always been more of a fan of the 60's costume.

This is why I'm asking the question - whether these should be regular releases or one should be an exclusive.

Throw the CC members a bone and make the 70's version an exclusive. It might salve their wounds a bit after the whole grey Hulk issue.

And tick off the international collectors .. especially the members that live in Britain. :banghead:

With 50% of people wanting both, I think these both might warrent a regular release.

Hasn't the 70's version already been solicited? Then that would make the 80's version the exclusive, right? I don't mind, b/c I am a CC member, but I think the 80's version is gonna be you more popular one. It wouldn't really make sense to do that one for the exclusive,IMO.

Anyway, I plan to get both.

deacon - 70s Captain Britain is already available to order. It's too late for that version to be an exclusive. The 80s CB would work, however.

Duh. I should have remembered that...sorry :(. I just don't check the MB order page very often, being a FS collector.

I'll be buying both Randy, but I'll admit I wish BD was producing an Excalibur-version of Kitty Pryde to go alongside the modern Cap. I also wouldn't mind seeing a Rachel Summers Phoenix either, but I know that's a bit of a pipe dream.

Created by Chris Claremont and Herb Trimpe, he first appeared in Captain Britain Weekly, #1 (October 13, 1976), and the series has been produced through the years by many people, most notably Alan Moore."

Debuted in 1976...sooooooo then, why is the original costume referred to as the 60's/70's version? *scratching my head*

Only the 80's Excalibur version for me. I'm a club member and I love exclusives, but please not on this piece, Randy. I don't want to deal with the fuss and the stress, especially when this is a piece that will be very popular and really doesn't need to be an exclusive.

Save Devil Dinosaur for an exclusive instead, okay? ;)
