We've seen a plethora of busts representing just about every identity Hank Pym has had (Ant-Man, Giant-man, Goliath, and Yellowjacket), and now alot of folks here are really hoping 2007 brings us the long-rumored, much discussed FS Ant-Man statue.

...a Yellowjacket variant would be icing on the cake *grin*

Here are a couple of ARH statues to give you all an idea of how cool these guys could look...just imagine what the talented folks at BD could do with 'em!

An Ant Man and Yellowjacket FS would be nice.

Antman with a Yellowjacket variant would be great. As would a Giantman Goliath variant.

Now that I see those, I vote Antman and Yellowjacket in regular scale..standing poses

That's why I posted the pic of the ARH statues. Sure, the pose is pretty generic, but it helps give you an idea of how cool the two uniforms are when rendered in 3-D. Ant-Man's 1950's sci-fi influenced helmet, and Yellowjacket's dynamic yellow/black colour scheme really go a long way to making these two (potential) statues a big addition to any Bowen fan's collection.

Yeah I love that Sci-Fi look Ant Man has! BD would do a great job with it and now that ReelArt is doing John Carter....the world is good.

Oh, and for those of you who haven't heard...

"Ant-Man will be a 2008 superhero film based on the fictional Marvel Comics character Ant-Man. Ant-Man will be directed by Edgar Wright of Shaun of the Dead fame. The script is written by Wright and Joe Cornish. The movie will be produced by Avi Arad, financed by Marvel Studios, and released by Paramount Pictures.

Edgar Wright plans to direct an action-adventure film with comedic elements, insisting that Ant-Man would not be a spoof. Wright also plans to include both Henry Pym and Scott Lang as major characters, with Pym as Ant-Man in the 60's in Tales to Astonish style, and a flashforward to Lang as Ant-Man's successor in contemporary times."

...so Randy, now's the time to strike while the iron is hot and get a statue out in time for the movie tie-in!

I hope they don't mess with his original costume though!

I have to admit, I'm generally not too impressed with close-up pictures of ARH statues, but he really nailed the helmet!

I think ARH Rocks, the same as I feel about the stuff that Randy produces.
I am just starting to appreciate the SS stuff as well.
Thats what I like about this forum, there is so much diversity in likes and dislikes.

If I had the cash and display space, I'd be buying some SS stuff as well. I just saw the Colossus/Cyclops vs. Sentinels diorama the other day and was highly impressed!

Of course, if they made a 1/8 scale Ant-Man statue I'd manage to scrape together the funds very quickly ;)

I know there's been a few folks expressing a desire for Randy to produce more African-American heroes...I'd like to do my part by supporting a Garrett Morris variant of Ant-Man...

...should he ever actually be made as a FS :thumbs2:
