I hope Randy is reading this thread or will read it. Any knind of feed back would be encouraging. Is this piece in future plans or are we goning to have have this one commissioned? Even if he only did a run of 500 units and charged $300.00 plus per unit, I still get at least 2. Gabe really did a bang up job on the MB and a FS is only right to complete this character. jimbo5905 you should read up on the Destroyer, I would love to have something like this in my closet for just in case situations. I agree that chrome should not be an option for this piece, it would take away from the bad boy image the Destroyer brings. One thing that all of us agree on is that Gabe Perna knocked this one outta the ball park.:thumbs2:

I agree, they are fs worthy, however I wish there was a way for Randy to produce the "B" list guys and still make a profit. That way we get the ones we want and Randy stays in business. I do believe that a lot of sales are generated by the quality of the sculpt.

I was no real fan of the Juggernaut and would have never considered buying a statue especially the earlier ones. This changed when I saw the latest Bowen Juggernaut & Thanos, which blew me away, and I've been collecting ever since and even got my brother started. For some of these "B" list characters a real good sculpt will bring in people who other wise would never have bought a scuplt. Even my wife likes my Destroyer MB and she knows nothing about the character, that's the power of a good sculpt.:thumbs2:

The Destroyer is just a BadA$$ that doesn't get enough exposure. I always loved this character and I would have liked to see him in more stories but writers had a difficult time putting him in because he was so powerful. With Gabe doing a great job on the sculpt it was bound to be sold out. If Randy and Gabe does a fs it would be another home run in my book.

The mini bust was not enough for me, I have to have more. I have been a long time fan of the Destroyer (since the early 70's) and I was floored when Bowen announced the production of this piece and I couldn't wait for it to arrive, it was better than I expected. I am not a fan of mini bust and I would perfer to have a FS over a mini anyday. Sometimes I feel cheated by mb because they only show 1/2 the character. I would love for Bowen to produce a FS and after nearly 40 years, the Destroyer is finally getting some recognition, FS all the way. :buttrock:

I'm rather disappointed in how the voting went at the Clubhouse forum. This is where the Destroyer was out voted by those who no know little about him. He was put in the poll where people were voting for Heralds of Galactus, now how many people even know the Destroyer was a one time Herald. With things that skewed no wonder Destroyer came in 3rd place. The Destroyer should be put in the of Asgardian bad guy, along with Mangog, & Kurse.

Well if we go strictly by whats printed in the comic book yes but some artist has protrayed him much larger than Thor. My question is which version will Bowen use? Will he go for the more classic look that Gabe Perna has so well captured or will he abandon that look for the one protrayed by Walter Simonson which is the basis for my latest avartar. I like them both perhaps we should start a poll on which version people like or at least put them up so other posters can see the difference between the two. My though is a combination of the two what do you think?

Are you kidding the size to me is more essential than who sculpts it. Take the Sideshow PF Hulk for instant the size really makes that piece stand out. If Randy wants this piece to turn out right is MAKE IT BIG.

I agree that it would be easier to make a Thor/Destroyer variant since the bust is already made. I was just dreaming if Randy was to make a FS standard Destroyer and a limited number Thor/destroyer variant. My goal is to persuade Randy into doing a FS Destroyer and I would be completely happy. A Thor/Destroyer variant would be extra gravy for me. :D For my own personal taste I prefer a fs over a mb any day of the week and I hope after Randy does this new mb variant he won't quit and not do a FS Destroyer.

I would almost agree with there but I was thinking that Randy should do a action pose for the Destroyer instead of a museum pose. That new Thor pose is a museum pose and I think it would look awkward nest to a action pose Destroyer. However I'll just be glad if Randy did a FS Destroyer no matter what the pose is.

I've seen them go as high a $129.00 on ebay. Now at 172 yes votes I think there is a real chance a fs could be made. In looking at the new mb variant, I think Bowen did a good move in going with the new face plate. This piece could be so awesome I could easily see Bowen offering a FS Thor/Destroyer variant.

Getting this many votes shows the power of a good scuplt even for a relatively obscure character like the Destroyer. The Thor/Destroyer scuplt looks even better than the original and I never would have thought that Randy could have improved on that other than make it into a FS.

I don't like mb but I do make exceptions and this is one of those exceptions. I'll definately be getting two of these and maybe more if my brother takes a look at it. I would probably drop dead if Randy annouced that he was doing a FS with a Thor/Destroyer variant.:eek: With this many votes a FS is a no brainer now all we have to do is pray that Marvel will see this and grant Randy a Phase IV license. :thumbs2:
