There's a rumor that BD was unable to obtain the rights to produce a Black Knight FS. Not sure if it had to do with the sculpt which was offere dto him was a combo knight/horse sculpt or whether it was the character all together. As far as I recall, RB did not address it in his last QA session.

Amen James! I'd be lobbying for a FS Giant-Man too, but I think the size and price could make it a bit harder sell to TPTB than Ant-Man.

Y'know the weird thing? Hank Pym has no less than 4 busts (5 if you count the YJ variant), and all have been sculpted by Randy. Not even Wolverine can make that claim. Obviously he loves the character, which is why I'm sure we'll see a FS Pym of some sort...hopefully soon.

Amen James! I'd be lobbying for a FS Giant-Man too, but I think the size and price could make it a bit harder sell to TPTB than Ant-Man.

Y'know the weird thing? Hank Pym has no less than 4 busts (5 if you count the YJ variant), and all have been sculpted by Randy. Not even Wolverine can make that claim. Obviously he loves the character, which is why I'm sure we'll see a FS Pym of some sort...hopefully soon.

Yep, it was Thor, but next month's issue has to go to press soon (it usually takes 3-5 weeks before it actually hits the street!), so the decision has to already be made on what's coming out in June!
To be honest, I'm kind of surprised there wasn't more offered up - I would have thought we'd see at least one more bust, say, Thunderbird, for June, plus the modern Captain Britian as a second bust for May!
Oh, well, they could still surprise us!

While I see exactly where you are coming from. Sneaks are like mini presents. Totally awesome and usually unexpected. I love them, personally. I honestly think we should get more sneaks, like every Friday. We could follow the process from conception to ordering.

Although, they would be some few to ''nit-pick''.

I too like sneaks just for the sheer enjoyment of them. Released product only comes out once a month. And this gives us more to look forward to.

But I also like how sneaks give us the opportunity to critique the work. In some cases Randy listens (using a darker blue on Kang's face) and sometimes he doesn't (Mandarin eating a cheeseburger). But at least we get an opportunity to (hopefully) effect the outcome of the final product.

What I want to know though, is where were you guys when the FS Thanos was released? How could you let Randy use that baby blue, instead of the darker hue like the MB? (I am absolving myself of guilt for that one, as I wasn't a member of this forum yet.) Did no one comment on that one? I'd like to think that someone spoke up. You guys haven't struck me as the shy retiring type in the short time I've been here. Someone must have said something!! :bawling:

Yeah Deacon thats exactley the train of thought I was in when i realized that (while i was working out and reading the Classic Avengers series when Hank went and had a personalility split or breakdown and showed up at Avengers HQ in a yellowjacket outfit) whew! anyway, thats when it hit me Hank Pym has been a founding member of the Avengers
