Big Bust Polaris

To Randy:

I received my Polaris mini bust today and it's adsolutely beautiful and very tall compared to most that I have. I see that the base are taller then what's on the earlier busts, and most busts have arms now. It would be a great idea to remake all of the earlier armless busts with arms, and with taller bases. Please try and keep the size of the characters accurate. It is strange seeing Polaris & Havoc larger than Colossus.

I still love your work.

Except for the height, I don't have any real complaints on the X-men sculpts from the first Phase (Except Rogue...she needs to be cut at the waist and her arms are just funky looking).

I would settle for a special set of risers for the X-men done in the the first Phase or so. (Like the riser that the Lizard sits on...Wolverine's riser is still pretty short compared to the size of these Phase III busts). I'd buy them in a second.

As someone who uses her arms to cast her spells/use her powers, I think it's a no-brainer!!! Plus, we need a Brotherhood-era Scarlet Witch to go with the green Quicksilver!!!:buttrock: :thumbs2: :buttrock:

I just want to see Wanda redone period. I just didn't like the look of the bust (and yes the height was one problem). I can deal with the no arms if it works well like Snowbird.

I think the cloak-covered arms worked once - a redone piece would have to be done with arms raised, casting a spell!:thumbs2:

That would be sweet for sure. It would be the best way to distinguish it from the original. Just as long as they give her a nice face that matches the final protype. I didn't mind as much in the FS, but the bust face was just wrong IMO and looked very different from the solicted product.

It's odd - I totally agree with you.....my bust's face looks nothing like the face on the box, yet a number of others have posted that their's is very close to the box version. The face - particularly the eyes - is the only real problem I have with the original piece!

Well mine was horrible. Besides the face, I did think the bust was a little too short. The cloak just made it feel enclosed and really small IMO, but for sure the face has to go! It wasn't that attractive and was too soft a look for her.

Got mine today, 1264/2500, I have no problem with this piece, the ****ed eye is barely noticable on mine, and the paint job is above average, made some modification myself and it looks fantastic, gotta love it!:thumbs2:

Yeah Baby!!!! That's what I'm talkin about!!! I would love to see a Juggy MB like this in a pose similar to the Asgardian Destroyer MB but mirrored the opposite way with his right arm down more than his left arm and his body facing the opposite direction. It would be epic!!! Especially if it looked as unbelievable as the Bowen Juggy FS!:buttrock:

I can't wait myself. Bowen shipped mine this week. My Mysterio will be here on Monday and Leader will be here next Wednesday. Strange that Leader shipped to me before Polaris.

I haven't recieved my shipping notice for this yet, but I got my ship notice for the Leader yesterday. I thought this was a little odd considering that the Leader shipped after Polaris.

Anyone else have their Polaris just show up in the mail w/o a shipping notice?

The sculpt is awesome, and I love the green colors, the color on the cape looks great!
The only thing I don't like about the statue is the right eye looks lower than her left eye.
