When I look at pictures of these two statues I think they would look great "battling" each other face to face but I'm not sure how they would size up next to each other. Can someone with both statues please put them together and post a few pictures. Thanks!

And let me just say for the record I dig how huge Randy sculpted the Hulk's triceps! Looks like he could benchpress a planet!

The BD and HH look really good next to each other. I might have to pick the Thing now to display them together.

The HH Thing, is wayyyyy too big to display with the new Bowen Hulk.

From his pic it looks good to me!

Anyone that comes over my house would have no idea what the proper scale would be. So then if I could live with it then I guess it's no big deal!

Yeah, but Ben is supposed to be 6' tall, and the Hulk is 7' tall. The Thing has always been the smaller of the two, but the HH Thing looks to be slightly taller if he were standing upright.

I miss the days when the Hulk was stockier than everybody else, but not taller - it takes away from the character, in my opinion, to have him towering over everyone. That's one of the reasons the Shifflett/Bowen Hulk will remain the only Hulk in my collection.

But that Hulk is crouched with his knees bent. Looking at it, if he were standing upright, my impression is this statue'd have him hugely tall, too.

We need a statue where Thing is punching through Hulk's big, green, stupid head!

It's tiny compared to the new one, and the legs aren't much more bent. Far as I can see, the first BD statues would have Thor a clear head above Hulk if they both stood up, which is exactly as they should be in my opinion. It's a matter of taste, but I like the Hulk (and statues in general) to be smaller than the new one.

I miss the days when the Thing actually looked like a "thing" instead of, as every kid under the age of 5 calls him, "Rock-Man". I know I'm in a smaller minority than the Parapalegic African-American Hassidic Jewish community...but I'd love to see a FS sculpt of him.

That's a pretty small community, but I think you're right. Maybe - maybe - a MB...

Now we're all getting nostalgic. Hey, a lumpy variant of the original Thing statue in brown shorts would make for a superb Marvel Two In One # 50 display...

Bah! Thats just a mountain range. This is much more impressive -- with a little help from rocket springs, the Hulk shatters an asteroid calculated to be twice the size of Earth with a single punch!

Here's another that makes the mountain range look like child's play -- from the just released issue in the Planet Hulk saga -- IH #102 -- While being covered in magma, Hulk pulls together the plates of the planet when they start splitting apart!

Dude! that's just insane, holding a planet together! Hulks strength meter just went up in my book:buttrock:
Also MM I really appreciate you photos over the last couple of weeks, they are keeping me stoked until I get mine. I just cleared my credit card today so I can relax as I don't think I will have any more hulk stuff to buy for a wile now.

Me too. Great stuff, and thats the Hulk I grew up reading about-the endomorph body and all.But I'm not sure if I would want a Hulk SCULPTED like that. I'm really digging the size of the new Hulk and his expression really captures him .

Any love for the Spikey Thing? The version of Thing were he got much stronger and had a tail-he kicked Mr. Fixits but pretty oo if I remmeber correctly.

Man, I love how the BD Hulk looks with the HH Thing. The scale looks perfect to me. This pic really sold me on getting the BD Hulk. If anyone else has a pic of these two, I'd love to see them.

Bowen hit the mark just right with the size comparison. HH Thing is too big compared to the Bowen Hulk.
