These are some of the one I have outside my shelf and curios.
Sorry for the poor picture quality

Is Mysterio's head supposed to be detached. Mine came off as I tried to take it out of the box and it looks like it's broken at the attachements.
No big deal cause if I glue it back in place it should look fine, but just wondering.

Here you go buddy. Funny, by himself he looks so huge, yet he's so tiny next to thanos.

If Mysterio is broken, send him back.

Nice pics. Are all the statues on the counter new?

except for DD and Namor they are the newest statue to come out. I replaced the namor and DD in my curio with the Hulk. I need to get another curio but I have to figure out where to put it furst.
Should I return it even though glueing it would make it a non issue?

Good stuff Rome:buttrock:
I saw the Mysterio for the first time in my LCS today.
What an incredible statue!!!

I really don't like Mysterio at all but I am pretty close to trying to get my hands on one.

Jesse, the Polaris in midtown has the same ****eyed problem as well.I know I opened up a bunch at my LCS yesterday and they were all like that, but from the angle of Rome's pics, it looks like his doesn't.

In any event, I already talked to Saul and he'll fix it for me if I can't get a good one.

I only looked at the one on display.
It's a shame. I have very few busts and would have added Polaris to the collection but I just can't get by that:banghead:

Don't mean to highjack your thread Rome

To keep it on topic I really like Picture in the background:thumbs2:

Jess I tried to take pictures of mine but my stupid camera won't focus when I'm that close for some reason.
anyway, as far as I'm concerned the eyes on mine are perfect. At least as good as any of the other female busts.
what was the problem again?

On all the ones in my LCS the right eye was painted larger and more prominent than the left and it was made to look like she had a ton of eyeliner (she looked like Prince in 80's) it just ruined the face.

Lorna always have a very soft feminine face,

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v292/Jesse321/Lorna.jpg

the paint job on the face of the bust is just WAY too harsh. Giving credit where it's due, the rest of the paint job on the bust was terrific.

Here is a trick I've learned, take a large picture from farther away, then just crop it, you'll still get a large enough pic to see detail.

Other than the lips being green, SHE'S PERFECT!

If I can get one like that, I would be very happy. :)

oh well then I'm lucky then. Idon't think I've ever had a "paint" issue with any of my bd pieces. All this time I thought it was because I just didn't inspect my pieces that closely.

Why then I say a very big THANK YOU as this is one of my paintings.
it's funny but it's always hard for me to accept compliments on my paintings because I always feel that people are just being polite, or nice. Afterall, what else can they say? So the only time I truly accept a comliment as being honest and geniuine is when someone compliments one of my work without knowing I did it.
So thanks again.:buttrock:

I never did either, these problems didn't seem to happen in the first and second phases (well at least not this often), but I'm at least glad that BD's is still averaging way more hits than misses for the most part. :thumbs2:

Yeah - he is very small compared to the bowen statues.
Did u know there is a small boy and dog attachment for that Pitt Statue?
(his name is "tiny" from memory).

I would love to get the bronze version of that pitt statue - sadly there is ONLY 25 in the entire world.
