After receiving the entries, we have our winners. Remember, all we did was send a list of categories and ask members to vote for the best in each category. They were allowed to put whoever they wanted to. All we asked was to base their answer off of 2006 releases. Members who voted where active participants in each of the major forum sections to level out the playing field. A lot of great entries but these are the ones who rose above.
They will each receive a 2006 Statue Forum Award and hopefully they will get a picture taken with it so we can post them on the boards and enjoy them. Congrats to all who took part of this industry, fans, sculptors and manufacturers alike. Most of all, congrats to the winners!

Also, if your favorite didn't win, please don't take it away from the winners. Let them enjoy the moment. It was a tight race and more than one could have been a winner.
Thanks!

That's a well-deserved honor, Martin! Congrats! I love that you and Sideshow did so well. It's the Vs. line (Hulk vs. Spidey) that got me started collecting statues in the first place last year.

Congrats to the winners! They earned it for doing some of the most incredible work this hobby has seen. Seeing the works created this last year and seeing some of the pieces coming at us in the future make this an incredible time to be in collecting.

wow! this comes a quite a shock!!!
i guess i really don't know what to say, other than thanks to all who thought of me. there are others who are so far beyond my level of skill and understanding, that it absolutely blows my mind to think that are some of you out there that prefer the way i do things.
i know i've become a total forum flake as of late- but it's due solely to the fact that i'm being kept rather busy. i hope that some of my upcoming efforts support the honor you have granted me!
...and to the other winners- the accolades are incredibly well deserved. i look up to each and every one of you! congrats to all the winners and thanks again, for the very highly esteemed honor!

Wow, this is a real honor guys! We've been working really hard to give you the best product that we can imagine and actually winning so many awards makes it that much more satisfying for all of us. Do know that all of us at Sideshow are excited to be a part of your awards and also being mentioned with such greats as Clay, Martin, Tony and others. I know that Martin has worked extremely hard to give it his all in every single piece he does as I am sure the rest here have as well.
Thank you Statue Forum for these awards and we will continue to produce only the top quality pieces. We appreciate your support, positive feedback and look forward to an even better 2007!
Congatulations Mat, you guys have earned it.

why? Supposedly they make some awards for this matter...
I'd imagine that setting awards up, and compiling votes is quite a lot of work, and no one gets paid for it. :)
