That totally sucks. He was one of my favorite Batman artists and I really enjoyed his Mister Miracle run. Hate to lose another great artist.

My thoughts go out to his family.

Wow, that is sad. He wasn't nearly old enough--he was what, mid-50s? Wow.

Very sad news indeed :( I have very fond memories of Marshall's dynamic work on Mister Miracle and Detective Comics and other titles and the very first piece of original comic art that I ever bought around 18 years ago, was a splash page featuring the Daughters of the Dragon. He will be missed.

I think the first Rogers' books I ever laid eyes on were Doc Strange. Great stuff. I was thrilled to see him at the helm of the relaunched Silver Surfer title, and enjoyed his recent work on Batman: Dark Detective. I never had the good fortune of meeting him, but I've read nothing but good things from those who did. A great artist... he'll be missed.

Wow. His Batman was great. Maybe we'll get a Batman B&W as a tribute?

It seems that we're hearing about the passing of artists and writers all too often of late... It's hitting home. Their work meant (still means) so much to us.

Loved his Dr. Strange and Batman.
His legacy will live on.

Very sad. Glad I got to meet him before he passed and get some sketches. He was thinking of trying his hand at manga, believe it or not.
