To ban, or not to ban: FORUM SURVIVOR!!!

In the tradition of crappy, network television (see Sam Wilsons thread), I propose a "solution" to much of the bickering and bandwith wasting on the forum. Each week, the Mods will select those members who have been disruptive, argumentative, annoying or otherwise pains in the a$$. A poll will be created, which lasts for 5 days (through Friday night) for you, the forum members, to vote on who should be banned (top vote getter only). The first time you get selected, you're gone for a week. The second time, a month. Third time, forever. Sort of like a 3 strike rule. This would both police those who are being naughty (myself included :( ) and allow the boards to really decide who is bringing down the forum.

Here's my vote in support of the mods. They seem like they have been very even-handed so far.

I say we should do this for fun... the bans should be for brief periods of time (ie 3 days) and cumulative bans from this do not lead to longer, permanent exiles.
