Another strength question; Thor?

Just how strong are these various Thor incarnations?

Are they all equal? Aside from strength, what exactly are the differences in terms of power?

As far as I can tell King Thor wasn't any stronger than he was before unless he would channel the Odinpower to augment his strength. I assume he had access to all the abilities of Odin with perhaps less overall control.

Rune Thor, I really don't know.

Rune Thor is without a doubt the most POWERFUL incarnation. NOw, does that make him the STRONGEST incarnation? Maybe...but I like to think of LORD THOR as being the strongest incarnation, as he was an incarnation of Thor with no human side, and could be pretty darn ruthless!

Sorry, Tet, I was gone for the weekend but it looks like Ryche answered everything in his own inimitable style.

It's pretty clear Rune Thor is the most powerful incarnation which, I believe, must include raw physical strength. Lord Thor possessed the Odinpower and, as Ulik's fellow trolls commented when Thor dispatched Ulik in record time, was significantly stronger than when he was God of Thunder.

Rune Thor, I really don't know.

From what I have read Lord Thor was significantly stronger than classic Thor. He dented Cap's shield with only one blow and could have easily broken it. The busted the Destroyer/Desak combo's head with 1 throw of Mjolnir.

Rune Thor was one level up from Odin IMO. Looking at what he had to do to get the Rune Power he went further in suffering than what Odin went through to get the Odin power. He also appeared to use the Rune Power apart from the Odin Power. If you read the last issue of Thor, the Odin power is seen in the form of a small child standing and talking to Thor while Thor is using his new found power Rune Power. If the Odin power joins with Rune power I don't see anyone short of a Celestial stopping him. :eek:

Speaking of Thor, I just got the Marvel solicitations book yesterday with the new Thor on the cover and I can't even begin to tell you how much I dislike the costume. I saw it online in b&w, but it is even worse in color. Anyone else want the classic costume back?

Can't wait for Thor to return but I absolutely hate that uniform. What I want Thor to do when he comes back:

1.) Thor to get rid of that uniform.
2.) Thor to kick Reed Richards and Tony starks a$$ for making that damn clone.
3.) Thor to kick Sentry's a$$ for pretending to be a hero.
4.) Joe Q. & Co. to leave Marvel forever never to return.
