View Full Version : Anyone know anything about the Warhammer 40K Line?

Sideshow had a license from Games Workshop to produce mini-statues of character/troop types from Warhammer 40,000. A line was produced called "Warriors of the Imperium" that featured the Space Marines. Sixteen Space Marines were produced (4 Ultramarines, 3 Blood Angels, 3 Dark Angels, 3 Space Wolves, 1 Imperial Fist, 1 Crimson Fist, and 1 Black Templar) and one Tau Fire Warrior.

These weren't of the highest quality (in fact, 2 different statues of Ultramarines had the same name) but they did look nice. Then Games Workshop started a spinoff company called Warp Artefacts and the Sideshow line seemed to die.

I haven't seen any announcements for future product or for the cancellation of the line (it tended to run VERY late). Anyone hear anything? :inquisiti

Anyone other than me care? :inquisiti

I'll take the overwhelming silence to indicate that:

a.) No one knows what happened to Sideshow's Warhammer 40K line.
b.) No one cares.

:bawling:

JR,
I've re-painted a couple for friends to use as gifts, and the sculpts are quite nice. I haven't heard anything about them being discontinued though...
