View Full Version : Finally... Hellboy!

Finally landed the Sideshow Hellboy; it's one I've been wanting ever since I began this hobby. I got into the game fairly late, so I missed out on the original release, but I finally got him and couldn't be happier. Had to wait all day for UPS (they didn't show up until almost 7 pm! :banghead: ), so I didn't even make a comic run today, but it's worth it.

Sorry to create a new thread, but sometimes it's difficult to contain the excitement for a new piece. The pictures are nothing special, just a couple quick shots I snapped off upon opening him.

Looks really good. I was considering this one myself a couple years back. I kinda regret not getting it.

Congrats!!:thumbs2: A great PF and a great movie! I look forward to seeing the Hellboy 2, and the cartoon series is pretty good too.

Yup, got it off eBay, and for a really good price. Picked it up from Newbury Comics; which having been to New England a few times they're a solid store. The name is misleading, they don't really focus on comics much, and they don't have a store in Newbury... but aside from that, lol...

That's where I picked up my Hellboy PF!! It was $129 from the store itself when I picked it up (there are a few Newbury Comics stores in my area).

Take it you're from New England? I love it out there, and always made it a point to stop at Harrison's comics in Salem, Mass. Maybe someday that's where I'll live, but for now I'm stuck in Michigan with the nearest comic store over an hour away. So, basically all of my statues come from the net...

Yup. I'm from New England. I live in Rhode Island, office is in Mass, & work in Conn. (assigned territory). It's nice out this way. Because I do alot of driving I see alot of things some people wouldn't even think about.

The nice thing is having Newbury Comics in close proximity (there are 3 stores around the area). It's fantastic place to visit especially with most of the comic book stores known specifically for comics only. Some Newbury Comics have a ton of statues at decent prices, although some have barely anything in regards to statues either. But they always have something good and I always go back because you never know what new stuff they get in from week to week.

Never been to Harrison's though. I would normally only go to Salem, MA around Halloween for festivities out that way. Still New England is a pretty decent place to live. Foxboro Stadium is super close (for Patriot games) and a trip to Boston is only about 40 minuted from where I live. It's nice catching games at Fenway although Boston's got some nice bars, restaurants, etc.
