I'm itching to make a desktop wallpaper for myself out of Adam Hughes' art that the Emma Frost statue was based on. Anybody know where I can find a high res (or any) clean copy of that image? If only I'd gotten the exclusive version instead of the standard...

I'm sure it will be online before long. What I have noticed with AH prints (maybe its just me) the image it self is sooner or later on line. But the litho themselves are hard as hell to get.

Most of his lithos that I have seen are small, at least to the say 12x18 or 22x28 that say Aspen comics does. I tried to get several of his off ebay and the price jumps from 9.99 to 80.00 in a heartbeat.

Thats why I'm glad the Powergirl one and the Supergirl one he did will be in posters in august.

Anyway you just have to look over sites that have people upload their comic art collections. Such as http://www.comicartfans.com. And my guess is that someone has already made it into a desktop.

I had forgotten about comicartfans. Thanks so much for reminding me. I'll definitely check them out and hopefully can locate the pic.

wow, I wouldn't think anyone would seperate the art from this piece.

That is my doing. I love the statue, but what am I going to do with the art? :peoples:
This gives a chance for someone that has a nagging wife/girlfriend or just doesn't like the statue, to get the art cheaper than buying the whole thing. I know there are alot of AH! litho/print fanatics that will love it. :)

I personally would love to have the print, heh. I'll be keeping an eye on the auction :)
