Since the new F4 movie just came out (no, I have not seen it yet), I wanted to bring this little dio back into the spotlight. I think it's just plain awesome. SS pulled off the characters very well IMO.

It is a great set...seems like it didn't get high remarks here simply because it's not an FS. It's a hybrid of a bust, statue, and diorama. Personally, I think it's f'n cool. Definitely a unique design.

Thinking there may be a fix to stabalize it a bit.

Thanks, glad you like it. :) I have a light resting behind the base. It serves dual purposes lighting up Torch's flames as well as adding a bit a stability to the piece.

I just got mine yesterday, and it really is a beautiful piece. The transparent Invisible Woman, in my opinion, really makes the whole thing look ten-times better. I'm thinking about getting a felt-lined revolving platform so I can view all 360 degrees of the piece. Any of you guys have one of these? Do you know of any place where I can get one?

BTW, I initially had the same stability problem that many of you guys experienced. To solve it I placed a thin piece of rubber towards the back of the base.

It's about 4 ft wide, 2 deep, 3 high. Got the best deal ever on it. two of them for $150. USed, obviously.

I ordered the non-exclusive from a site that had it in-stock for $185. I got it yesterday and, considering how long this piece has been out, I was shocked when I saw that I received #8. Sooo close to #4. Man, that would have been cool.

I really didn't care for this piece when it first went up for sale, but I started warming up to it when people started posting in-hand pics several months ago. I'm glad I finally decided to go ahead and get one of these, because it is awesome! If I had known I was going to like it this much, I probably would have paid a little more for an exclusive. I'm very happy with this one, though, and I'm planning on getting a bunch of Bowen FF pieces to display with it.

Yeah I hate how unstable this one is, it's the only SS Marvel piece I own as I don't like the PF (plus I can't afford them) and I was too late in ordering the Wolverine piece. I suppose I could display it on my Bowen shelf but it probably wouldn't go well there.
