unfortunately my maul I got in today has to go back because the light saber doesn't light up...

Did you try "forcing" it a little so the hand can better fit? At first, mine didn't light up. I aplied some pressure and voila.

I have tried but I don't want to apply to much pressure I will have to try again tom. I will let u know. so far costomer service @ss has been grreat
