Tom Strong -- is it any good?

Today, stoped off at Golden Apple. And picked up the first trade of Tom Strong by Allen Moore. Also picked up Top 10.
Does anyone read these books and if so, how do you like them?

I haven't read Tom Strong but I really enjoyed Top 10--Gene Ha's art is GREAT! and the story is good as well.

Both are good solid reads. Tom Strong is kind of hokey, but still very good in a nostalgic way. Top 10 is an excellent read although you need to allow a lot of time for it. There are stacks of "in-jokes" and other neat details, lots of characters too.

I was a reader of Tom Strong. Had to drop titles to keep up with Marvel...Foord hit it on the head...nostalgic is an excellent description of the book. A fun read.
