My third Dr. Doom replacement

Received my third Dr. Doom Exclusive today and it's a lot better than the rest.

I just have a question, why is there no edition number on the box or the statue itself?

SS probably numbered all the statues and sold it all and you got yourself a reserve for your replacement. That's my guess. If not, it's freshly made just for you :thumbs2: Number it 1/1 :buttrock:

Well it was made in China... SS probably got tired of making/sending replacements and decided to get me one from the black market.

Usually they dont number the box if you get the replacement one. It is rare that they didnt number the base.

Heh I feel the pain. I received mine broken through UPS mail yesterday....I was mad...no wait mad would be putting it very nice as it was a present to my girlfriend for her birthday in 2 weeks. Atleast I still have time for another. She loves Buffy and Dr Doom :buttrock:

Numbering it with 1 can be a problem in case some one else has it. AP should be a better option. :)

This statue was a gift, so I don't plan on reselling it. I just can't beleive SS would send me a non edition issued statue.

From what I've heard they set the APs aside, incase they need to use them as replacements. They leave those without numbers.
So, I believe you got an AP. Like my Hulk:buttrock:
It's kinda wierd that there isn't a edition size # though.:peoples:

i believe the correct protocol in this situation is to take a pen and write "1" yourself.

I'd call SS and see what they say. If they can't help you for some stupid reason, then just write in the number your original one was as that would be the correct number for this one.
