The Darkness

Has anyone played the new Darkness game yet?
I was thinking abt picking it up when it gets released in a couple of weeks here in the uk and was wondering what people thought of it

Isnt it out already? It is over here and usualy the release dates are the same for the UK and Belgium. Either way it's a good game but for me personaly since the market is flooded with fps's it has to be a damn great one for me to buy.

I bought Flatout just a couple weeks back and I gotta say, I'm not that much into race games but I'm hooked on this one - best race game I've ever played. The graphs are amazing, some courses will realy have you drooling. The AI is superb, every AI driver has there own character and it's crazy to see them drive and try to crash each other, the scenery and yourself. Gameplay is 10/10 as far as I'm concerned - the perfect combination between arcade and simulation handling. The physics are also what add so much to this game. The way you can trash each course and how the debris stays where you left it after each lap is way cool. As for the music I didnt realy like it that much but after hearing it over and over I've come to love it, goes very well with the game.

Ok one last off topic thing, the way dust and water kicks up is awesome kinda like Motorstorm but even cooler imo. If you have a couple of drivers in front of you on a sandy road your driving half blind...fueled by adrenaline! :buttrock:

I knew this game was coming out and had been looking forward to it until I looked at it into Wal-Mart and discovered it was yet another FPS. I was hoping for something more like GTA where the camera follows behind Jackie as he moves around

Bought this abt 2 weeks ago and got round to playing it last night.
Haven't got too far on it but so far so good
