It is now confirmed that Slash is the boss in Guitar Hero 3 and has written an original track for the game.

Picked up the 360 version today at Bestbuy for my girlfriend. She's playing now, looks pretty cool.

They seem to be going quickly in store. Online the Wii and PS3 versions are already sold out.
