Finally got one.....

Yesterday was a very good day for me.... I finally got my hands of a piece i have been waiting YEARS to get.... the Moria Orc Archer!

Its an absolutely stunning piece and its worth the wait/dosh to get it. I think this has the best pose out of any of the lord of the rings range.

Anyway, here are some pics that don't do it justice (will hopefully be getting a new camera soon!) in quite poor light. Not ideal really, but it is late here

They had been and gone by the time i started collecting...

Man, I can only imagine if you got into the WETA line P1....you would be out of room for sure.

At one point I had almost the entire collection before ROTK. Sold them all during the boom though.

There are some i just wouldn't have... Elrond and aragorn (statue and bust) for example... there likenesses are just waaaay off for me. especially with the prices they go for these days!

I had the MOA and still have the MOS, as it is my
absolute favorite. If you can get both though, they
do complement each other very nicely.
Congrats again, and left-side-banners are BAD.....

Congrats!! This is a beautiful piece and my personal favorite from WETA's LOTR line. Its definitely a hard one to acquire too.

i think you're right. if i had started early back when weta was making their LOTR line in full force then i think i'd probably have to box them up into storage by now.

Trust me don't get into the line. The pieces rarely go up for sale and when they do they aren't cheap. :banghead:

For the really nice pieces (like this, Nazgul w/ steed, balrog etc) they go for loads now... Nazgul (last time i saw it) went for £900 (nearly $2000)

Up until now, the Nazul w/ Steed has been my favourite piece, but i think this is almost on par
