The sculpt is great, but I don't like the execution of it. The eyes are so well painted. I was expecting a masked Wolverine or perhaps like Doom and Ironman we have the option of masked or unmasked.

When you have those big-ass ones like that, you generally "chew" it sort of while it's to the side of your mouth. It looks correct except for the mentioned ash.

Not if legislators, anti-smoking groups, and parents have their way. I'd say it's getting to be taboo to be a smoker in the US if it isn't already. Marvel probably didn't want to be associated with the image of smoking, or they'd eventually find themselves the target of lawsuit(s) accusing them of marketing cigarettes to kids. Comics are still predominantly seen as a hobby for children, just like videogames. Selling cigarettes to minors is definitely illegal. It's difficult to educate the masses that the demographics for these hobbies varies widely.

You know I hadn't even thought about using the name plate to that extent. At first I thought it was kind of a lame exclusive, but that is really a great idea.

I'm on the waitlist for the DD Exclusive. We'll see what happens. Someone order lots of new SDCC items and cancel their DD LS order so I can get one :D

I think that is what's missing on the Ghost Rider LB. Some battle damage and more cloth texturing.

I got the email saying this would be processed next week this. Hooray!

Then in the mail I got a court summons for an unpaid tax bill, which I was sure I'd paid. (Turns out they'd stopped taking the payments out of my bank account and I'd not noticed.) I rang up and sorted it out, but it cost me £350, so I just had to log in to my Sideshow account and cancel my order for this bust. It was even the Exclusive version and everything. (And cancel my order for The Orange Box on 360, too.) Boo!

I'm quite upset right now. I really, really wanted this piece. Ah well, better to have no Wolverine than be taken to court for non-payment of tax.

Yes and better size comparisons too. These are huge compared to the bowen mb's it is really not fair to compare the two busts against each other. I can eaither get 15-18 bowen mb's on a shelf or 3 of these thats how much of a difference I would say like 5-6 times the mass of bowen mb's

Got an Email saying mine is being processed just need to make sure there is enough on my card to cover it as i just picked up the green goblin premium for a decent price (my idea of decent not my girlfriends, but oh well).
This bust looks great, the only problem is i will have to get some more legendary scale busts to keep him company.

Are you in the UK? If yes I'm guessing that we are watching the same auction. No idea how good this bust is since there are so few reviews. I have three LSBs (Spider-Man, Venom, and Carnage) and I quite enjoy them. All of them are a good weight and well painted. I believe Wolverine is also very sturdy compared with Sabretooth who was hollow and had a lot of paint flaking problems.

p.s. I recently got the Spider-Man bust for 150 quid and I think that was a pretty good price.

Same here. It probably would've been an easy choice if he was masked up and looking pissed off. I'd get Sabretooth as well and display them together. I'm passing on both of them right now.
