My local LCS owner has a Ironman comiquette in his office not a exclusive is $650 a fair price for this piece. I love it but I was wondering if I should wait and see what other manufacurers are going to be turning out with the new movie coming!

That is a good price,The regs don't go for much less than the exclusives (only 750 regs). They usually go for over $700 on the bay.
Here's a reg that just ended for $815

You probably won't find it much cheaper than that. Seems like a fair price considering its average selling price on the secondary market.

I can tell you this much you won't regret buying it. IMO its the best 1/4 scale Marvel piece to date. Even better than Doom.

I agree, its a very nice piece and you will not find it cheaper than what he's offering.

me too, but if it was jim lee cyclops, or the byrne retro, I would've been on that like white on rice. I'm not too keen on the astonishing costumes

I'm waiting for the movie statues.:thumbs2: Although, I think if the quette was offered to me for $600, I'd probably get it. If my pocket could handle it.

One of the primary reasons why I love local comic shops...

Always get a chance to buy something "rare" at a decent price.

I'd pick up the Ironman comiquette, rjb. It's a great price for the piece if you can afford it. My LCS has some rare stuff too like the Thing bust for $499.99 and some Simpsons busts (ex. Grampa) for $7.99. Like anything, pieces like that are very expensive like the Ironman comiquette or The Thing 1:1 bust need to find the right buyer. It might take some time for them to sell, but if the right buyer comes along, you'll only be so lucky to find the same thing again for that price. Just don't go broke buying it...;)
