New Metal Gear Solid RAH @ MGS 20th Anniversary Party

The regular snake on the left looks amazing!, finally a good snake figure!.

Beside it there’s a new Raiden (don’t think anyone’s going to buy that)
The old MGS3 Medicom kind of sucks IMO the two new ones are amazing quality but I just don’t care for the character design.

Looks like they re-did a MGS3 suit on the far right doesn’t look so good in that pic but cant get a real good look at it , will reserve judgment until more pics come out.

Nice but I'm not into figures. It's about time they make some quality MG statues.

these are pretty close to statues, the old MGS3 Medicom looked more like a figure because it was all cloth.

But these new ones seem to remble the vinyl anime style statues that come out.

quality wise its there you cant see any articulation points nothing, the snake MGS4 does look more like a figure though (because of the head).

Very cool, but looks like they are about 6" tall. They should include the new Raiden, the design is aWesome!

They look great, but $175 for an action figure is crazy. I wish they were in the $80 range.

Nope. They are not RAHs, they're the Ultra Detail Figures series. If they are RAHs. then those 20th anniversary game/dvd cases on the right are mighty big,LOL.

These are not 12", I gaurantee you. They're more like gashapon,only bigger. And these little guys are a lot more accurate then the 12" ones.

Those 6" (?) figures are awesome! I hope they make Solid from MGS1 and Raiden from MGS4.

The 12" RAH figures are expensive but I'll probably buy them anyway because I'm a huge MGS fan.

okay I see now that they are 6inchers

but the MGS4 snake figure looks exactly like the RAH figure, you think sideshow are gonna release these toys?
or is it just extremely coincidental that the two figures look the same?:confused:

is it possible that they will release 12inch figures based on thoose designs?
because to this date there are no 6inch figures like that announced or being sold by SS or anyone:confused:

The 6" MGS4 Snake looks similar to the 12" RAH Snake because the RAH Snake is posed in a (stalking) pose, like the 6" figure. The RAH Snake can be posed in many different poses; it's a coincidence that the two figures are posed the same.

The 6" figures probably won't be released by Sideshow because Sideshow isn't known for releasing 6" figures/statues. The 6" figures will probably be released by some Japanese manufacturer. Hopefully they'll be released in the US.

Medicom probably won't release RAH figures of the MGS2 designs because those are old designs. Medicom is very selective about releasing RAH figures, perhaps due to the cost of making RAH figures. I'd be surprised if Medicom ever released MGS2 (or MGS1) RAH figures.

We can alway get it on ebay. And it will be a whole lot easier if the set or the individual figure is not limited edtion.

eBay is how I'm planning on getting them. I want to get the MGS4 RAH figures on eBay too. I hope to get all of them cheaper than retail, but some of those Japanese sellers charge a ton on shipping.

Can't blaim them. That's how much the shipping cost. The point is, we will get want we wanted sooner or later.

I think the only way Medicom would ever produce MGS1/2 figures is if MGS becomes super huge, then perhaps they'd try to cash in on more MGS merchandise. Unfortunately, I don't think MGS will ever get that huge. That's too bad because the MGS games are my all-time favorite games, and I'd love to see MGS1/2 RAH figures.
