That's because everyone with a camera has felt the need to put up their own thread. Multiple threads on SDCC pics, more threads on particular statues in the company sub-section (HH, SS, etc) and others under General collectibles and the conventions sub-section.

While I do appreciate people posting the pics, really I do, but the forum has been a mess since SDCC hit.

Why do people keep saying that the color is too light?

I think people will see that it is prolly darker and only looks light because of all the flashes and bright lighting.

Also would like to mention........has anyone noticed the statue is actually 2 tone......you can see it in the faceplate compared to the rest of the helmet, again on the spine being a different shade from the rest of his back and also the shinguard/upper boot is a different shade from the rest of the thigh.

it's the more accurate version that SS stole the idea from..but people see lights and think there's money to be made

Well it's not just the lights. I think the Sideshow one also has higher production values, looks more like a "museum" piece, and has a better pose and base.

In my mind, the minor accuracy issues with regards to paint and shading are far outweighted by the fact that a Stealth Sideshow Iron Man on display in the dark with lights on has a huge "WOW" advantage over the Hard Hero version ...

Just my opinion though . . .
