Anyone know who is putting out the Ninja turtle statues? I know that there are only two of them out there, but I just want to know where to look for them. Thanks.

Looks nice, but how come it seems like all the colors on the turtles' head gear are red?

I thought the others, aside from Raphael, were purple, blue, and orange.

CK13 is right. It's based on the original comic. I've thought about customizing my set with the appropriate character colors but not sure if it would be a good idea or not. Opinions?

Thats what i plan on doing...

I grew up on the cartoon not the Comic..
So i want them to be the right colors as i remember them...

If they were mine, I'd leave them as per the comics.

Although I first came across the turtles in the cartoon, I always prefered the way the characters were depicted in the comics. JMO. :)

If I owned them I would repaint since thats how I've always seen them. I've grown up with those different colored eye masks.

But its all really up to you and what your definitive version of the TMNTs are.

I agree. That's what distinguishes them as individual Turtles. Aside from their choice of weapon.

I disagree. I'd much rather be true to the comic than the cartoon, which was more like TMNT Light.

Hey all I was just charged for me Donatello, so should be here soon, and my set will be complete!!! Cannot wait.

My 2 cents, I would leave them just how they are. I was introduced to them in the comics, then the cartoon came out and I was very disappointed. I understand why they did the colors so kids could tell them apart.
When I get Don I will post some pics!!!

they look great together.i am not sure how i feel about coloring them.the first i saw of the tmnt was the first movie.i really didnt care for the cartoon much.i think i liked the arcade game better.

SO Donatello arrived today, so go upstairs to pull the others out of my closet because I did not want to display them untill i had them all. Did not realize that the tops of the boxes were the same color as thier masks in the cartoon.
So I open my closet and I see, or notice for the first time, I have two boxes with an orange top:banghead:
I have 2 Michelangelo's:banghead:

I have no idea what i was thinking, I need Raphael, and I ordered Michelangelo, and it never occurred to me to that I was a complete dumbass.

I was so pumped to disply these last night. Maybe I can name the other one Ben Riley and play up the whole clone series.

In the original comics (on which these statues are based), their masks were all the same colour. The different colours were an invention of the cartoon.

I am however unsure as to why four mutated, man sized, talking, walking turtles needed to wear masks in the first place. Was it to stop themselves from being identified in public? :peoples:

hey Fred, it took about a couple of months to get them back in stock. if it's in stock i would guess it would take a couple of weeks to get to you. they're worth the wait. :)
