Wow, thats a fairly ugly piece.
I wouldn't he surprised if that was a BS sale as the "ComicMonster" is a known art flipper and has lots of people that "work" for him to get stuff from artists. Probably shill bid up and I wouldn't be shocked if I saw the "buyer" reselling this piece sometime soon.

Wow.
So...reading the description, I'm confused. Is this a print from a sketchbook, or is this the original from which the sketchbook was made? It seems to suggest the former--like it was lifted from the sketchbook and framed (and hand-signed, for sure, but still...)
Or did Bill S. hand-draw (and ink) 50 sketchbooks?

And I agree, it's not Bill S.'s best work.

Even though I know good and well what this thread is actually called, I keep catching it out of the corner of my eye on the main page and misreading it first as "sienkiewicz is an a$$!".
Maybe it's just me... :thumbs2:

hey Gman, if you ever decide to let the color Elektra piece go, i would love the first shot at that one. lots of statues and art would go on the chopping block to have that in the collection, because it definitely :buttrock: :buttrock: :buttrock: .

makes me wonder what a Moonknight page would go for before he really developed his own style and stopped imitating Neal Adams.
