Not to be rude, but break those up into lots if you want to see any money for them.

at what number would you say a collection of comics approaches "monstrous"?
10,000, 25,000? just curious....personally i think around 100 or more short boxes is a good sized collection....anyone?

Why is it called the C. Moore Collection in the title but T.M. Chaney Collection in the description?

Good question. Also what is an estate collection? Is that like an estate auction? I thought estate auctions were after someone has passed away but the seller writes: "I have been collecting comic books for the two decades and the time has come for me to finally part with my collection.".

maybe the Riddler is behind it! His name is C.Moore or is it Seymore or See More (of my estate collection).....Robin, we haven't one moment to lose!

Wow I was expecting to see some early action comics, multiple key issues and stuff... When I moved from vegas to michigan I gave 140 long boxes to good will and it had a lot more stuff. Sorry just calling it like I see it.

Wow! I guess I have a monstrous, huge, historic comic collection too!
And if you're reading this you probably do too!
Ah, yes... The next time my wife complains about the crowded office or garage i'll just say "honey, that's a monstrous, huge and historic estate collection..."

I sold my "monstrous" comic book collection of 11 long boxes for $130 to my boss. He has around 50,000 comics in his basement. That's monstrous and historic, not eight short boxes from the 80's.

Maybe "Monstrous" was a bad choice of words.

i keep that many short boxes under my desk. and those are the ones i couldn't fit in the attic, back room, closet, under the couch, and every other nook in the house.

What joke, when I sold my collection it was 300 hundred long boxes and I did not call it a estate sale. All the books listed in the auction which most are bronze age books can be picked up dirt cheap and most of the silver age is in good condition. Now unless you were wanting a readers copy then why not spead a few extra dollars and get a higher grade. People kill me.

Odd...not a bad (small) collection, but certainly nothing approaching 'monstrous'.
What did this seller expect to get for this?
