Hi,

Just want to ask you paint masters on what paint to use on the Classic Marvel Figurines which are made from lead! I have a Colossus figure and want to paint it into Chrome. Maybe you can reply to me which type of paint to use. Thanks

Thanks so much for the help, will try to see if we have that type of paint here and will post my finished Chrome Colossus when done. :)

Since this came up...

I'm going to have to use Alclad to paint something for a friend. Can it be hand brushed?

And can you pick it up from a Lowe's, Home Depot, etc, or do you have to get it online?

Nope. It clearly says on the bottle to airbrush only. I tried brushing it on. You might has well just spray is grey :redface:

Well i went to about 4 hobby shops in my area and places like Pearl art stores. Non carried it. The hobby stores said they would order it for me, but mark up was higher then ordering it from one of the linked stores on the alclad site.

I contacted alclad on where to order cause some of those linked sites dont ship, only sell instore. So found a store from them to order it.
