Oh yeah, I loved the issue. Makes me want to read more. I didn't know Wakanada was so powerful, or that he whipped Captain America in a fight.

Yep, kicked his ass, but I think when you're a superhero, it's any given Sunday...

Check out Reg's website.

This is a GREAT book. The art is fantastic, Romita Jr and Klaus Janson make a great team. I love the fact that Reg didn't even give us today's Black Panther (T'Challa) and has built the story from the beginnings of the Wakanda's history. And what a great story that really paints the Black Panther's people as both civilized, advanced and fierce warriors on a global scale.

This is a must have book and series!

Oh, and count me in as one who's checked out his site, as well!

Well I for one am glad to hear that. SO many writers and artists (through unconscious racism) didn't understand or portray that (other than perhaps Attillan (the inhuman's city), Wakanda was the most advanced city on earth. It drove me crazy to see them depict it and the Wakandian's as primitives.
I'll check this out asap

If you check out this conversation between Joe Quesada and Axel Alonso (editor of Black Panther), at the very end he says "Black Panther" is the book he's most excited about.

Not a bad read for a book where the Panther only makes a cameo.
