I just finished the campaign & the ending was very satisfying (hint: theres a scene after the credits). I'm gonna run through this again b/c it felt kinda short. The worst level had to be #8 (find Cortana), damn I hate the Flood!

Got the game on saturday and WOW. I've been VERY impressed so far. I'm up to level 4 at the mo on legendary (the only way to play, haha) and its just getting better.

Not touched online yet, but doesn't suprise me about all the a$$holes online. Its what puts me off online play usually. I wouldn't mind joining you guys one night if im up late enough.

After playing awhile its obvious Bungie has yet to control the cheating. Its a shame because it takes all the drive out of playing online.

Look out for people wearing the Samurai armor, they most likely got the armor from online tips and may have taken other tips as well.

I've noticed some cheating as well. I've snuck up behind people and should have taken them down no problem. They end up killing me with one shot from the normal gun. doesn't make sense but Its happened a few times. After i'll check on they're deaths and they didn't die once throughout the match

I checked the Bungie forums and they recommend to report them and send the game video to bungie, but I have other things to do than police Halo 3 for them.

The Hayabusa Armor is obtained when you collect all 13 skulls (9 Gold & 4 Silver)

If 4 people play campaign together & 1 person gets the skulls, everyone in that party gets the skull. I see thats what alot of people did.

the IWHBYD skull is the hardest to find but it's in the level when you kill the prophet. I know you have to jump through those halo's in sequence to unlock it.

It bodes well for Halo 3 that Bungie is, only two weeks in, already making tweaks and refinements to the multiplayer experience. This first matchmaking update isn't a doozy, but it does address some small concerns with online play that have been brought up since launch, as well as a few goodies thrown in for good measure.

The update reduces the appearance of Shotty Snipers in Team Matchmaking (which was appearing at an unusually high frequency), and fixes it so that when players veto it, the replacement for Shotty Snipers will not be Shotty Snipers. Slayer gametypes will also appear more frequently in Lone Wolves. Big Team Battles have been upped to 16 players, and attacking teams in VIP matches get a waypoint to assist them.

I'm still trying to get the one on the 4th level (The Storm). It's on top of some silo where the wraiths are. If you destroy the wraith by the door, the skull disappears but I can't do a grenade jump to get it.

Also the one on the 5th level (The Ark). Again, I can't do a grenade jump for the life of me to get it.


God, Bungie sucks for making these things hard to get.

for the one on the silos just drive a bunch of the ghosts i used 3 and try to stack them as high as you can and then when you jump up hold down the left joystick so you crouch it'll let you get that much higher.

I don't have the one from the ark yet if I get it tonight i'll tell you how I did it

It's good that I got the service contact, I'm not looking to spend another $400 on this system.

I tried taking my ipod back to bestbuy after it went out had the replacement plan and all they told me to stick it up my ... they're not replacing anything. Needless to say I'll never give them my business again.

I have this system and it seems to work pretty good, but then again I don't play my XBOX as much as some people do.
