Well, I guess they've got to start somewhere...

Still, I'm filled with hope that we'll be seeing a Thor movie!

Well they've got a pretty dang good start wktf.
I'm hoping it'll do great, I just want to know WHAT caused THIS script to cost so much.

No clue yet Bullseye, Haven't heard who's distributing yet.
Mckidd was Rumored to say they thought he was too old for the part, because Marvel's looking for a younger actor, 19-20, I think they're basically doing a mix of Tales of Asgard, Son of Asgard, and JIM 83

Not bad choice, if he can beef up a bit...........

Thor deserves a 300 million dollar budget.

Superman Returns was 204 million.

They would be crazy to give it even half that amount. If a studio ends up losing $200 mil you can bet that would quickly end any future comic movies.

Well I've heard the budget's around 150-180, so who knows?

Yeah but Tet, Supes had 3 previous movies, and just because there's alot of money invovled doesn't make it a great movie.
LotR was done pretty cheaply in otherwords.

The Thor movie should look and feel like LOTR. Someone mentioned that months ago, but I think they are exactly right!!! That's the direction to go with the look and feel for this one. With a norse spin of course, instead of the Celtic one though.:)

I love the idea too MM, Marvel has said Thor is supposed to be thier LotR, so lets cross our fingers and pray it's close.

Just thinking about how the film could play out keeps bringing up images of the live action He-Man movie.

They need to keep the story in Asgard and away from Earth.
