Did anyone picked this up & if so, is it any good? I saw volume 1 but I wasn't too sure about getting it.

I'd say it's another Japanes eye-candy, that's about it...
Haven't seen a good anime for a looooong time.

i liked it! i actually downloaded the same 4 episodes in japanese with subtitiles about a year ago and liked them. picked up the DVD when it came out and still enjoyed it dubbed in english! story line is starting off pretty slow since it's just the introduction of the characters but the action should pick up in the next volume.

It's not bad, didn't know what to expect at first but it did end pretty well. I think so anyway.

What did you think of GL ending? I thought it was beautiful. Only shows look like I'm watching this season so far are Gundam 00 and Shana 2nd. how about you V3??

Grown up watching shows like Granzort, Mashin Eiyuuden Wataru and other Yusha shows, not alot of current animes can excite me.
But holy crap I've never seen anything like Gurren-Lagann...:buttrock:

Episode 4~6 were quite bad but got better again from 7, but HECK Kamina died in ep.8...:banghead:

The ending was very well put, the last episode is very very well done.
I mean, sh!t! just look at the size of the robot, you ain't got nothing like that before and never will!

It's probably one of the BEST anime done in years, totally can't wait to have it on DVD.:thumbs2:

As for new shows, not too crazy about any new Gundam, I'm a 0079 junky.:p

I saw an internet ad for Witchblade about two weeks before it hit stores. It looked interesting so I picked it up. It is the first "real" anime that I have ever bought. I must say, I liked it. It did start off a bit slow, but when the fourth episode ended I was hooked. I can't wait for volume 2 to come out, because there looks to be some serious action sequences in the future.

Renting them from netflix & disc 1 was a decent watch. I also have Mitusi (sp?) & Tokyo Maign(sp?) in my que. Last good anime series I saw was Elfen Lied.
